Harrison Held's SceneAroundTown... Marilyn Monroe... The Legend Is Honored All Over Los Angeles on the Weekend of Her Historical 50th Memorial...



Germany's Peter Schnug (right) flew to Los Angeles to speak at Marilyn Monroe's 50th Memorial at Westwood Village Memorial Park.  He enjoys lunch with Harrison Held at the Beverly Hills Hotel where Marilyn  stayed while filming "Let's Make Love" with Yves Montand - she graces the cover of the restaurant's menu

Kathleen Hughes, Stanley Rubin & Harrison Held arrive for a special screening of "River of No Return" at the Egyptian in honor of Marilyn Monroe's 50th Memorial - What A Nite - Stanley introduced the film & spoke about Marilyn & the making of the feature.  The character driven western directed by Otto Preminger played very well on the big screen & was very well received...    photo by Billy Bennight

Legendary Photographer George Barris spoke at the memorial. Here he is featured in front of one of his most famous photos of Marilyn Monroe. Other speakers at the memorial included producer Stanley Rubin, actress Kathleen Hughes, actor George Chakiris, author Lois Banner, foster sister Nancy Jeffries, author James Spada,  German MM Collector Peter Schnug,  Manfred Strunk, Amy Greene, Josh Greene & agent Jay Kanter. Marilyn Monroe Historical 50th Anniversary Memorial... The beautifully produced & classy memorial was hosted by Marilyn Remembered's Greg Schreiner & Scott Fortner & was sponsored by  Heritage Auctions & the Hollywood Museum.
