The Premiere last nite of the terrific new Australian documentary FALLOUT at Kat Kramer's Films That Change The World was a resounding success! It was the 5th anniversary of the acclaimed series and was held in the beautiful Canon USA, Inc. Screening Room at Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood where Kat's father Stanley Kramer made many of his landmark movies. FALLOUT is a timely new documentary about nuclear holocaust based on Mr. Kramer's award winning 1959 film "On the Beach" which starred film legends Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner, Fred Astaire, Anthony Perkins & Donna Anderson shot on location in Melbourne, Australia. The film was based on Nevil Shute's riveting best selling novel of the same name. Actress & comedy legend Lily Tomlin was on hand to present her friend renowned anti-nuclear activist keynote speaker Dr. Helen Caldicott. The stimulating panel following the screening moderated by actress/activist Ms. Kramer consisted of Dr. Caldicott, Lily Tomlin, Louis Gossett, Jr., Ric O'Barry, Karen Sharpe Kramer, "On the Beach"'s Donna Anderson, Neville Shute's daughter Heather Mayfield & Rick Overton. Honorary event committee members included Ed Begley, Jr., Harrison Ford, Sharon Stone & Billy Bob Thornton. FALLOUT runs 86 minutes & is a must see film written, directed & co-produced by Lawrence Johnson. Congratulations to Kat Kramer & her team on another great socially conscious event - her father would be very proud. HH
