USC film student Alan Takagi (with wife Nana)  was stationed in  Iraq in 2003 for 3 months when Arnold Schwarzenegger paid a surprise visit to the troops on  a very hot July 4th.  The visit was a real morale booster & soldiers received dvd's of Terminator Rise of the Machines weeks before the film's theatrical release. . "I know you guys can't get to the movies so I've brought my latest to you".    

Raffaella De Laurentiis & Arnold Schwarzenegger speak  - Arnold  starred in  Conan the Barbarian in 1982  which propelled him to movie stardom. The movie was produced by Ms. De Laurentiis

Paying Tribute: Moderator Allesandro Ago, Martha De Laurentiis, Raffaella De Laurentiis, Michael Mann, Jonathon Mostow & Arnold Schwarzenegger....   Late, great movie producer Dino De Laurentiis was honored at USC.  The award winning producer died November 10th 2010 at his Beverly Hills home at the age of 91.  "I am a man of 3 C's...  Cervello, Cuore & Coglioni".  Longtime De Laurentiis collaborator Mary J. Sweeney was honored with a Dino & Martha De Laurentiis USC professor position at the panel tribute which was expertly hosted & produced by Allesandro Ago
